Armourless SSJ Cell

First off, He's no more naked then Frieza is for the majority of the series. >__>
Secondly, yes I know his armour doesn't come off, it's a personal preference/fantasy.
Thirdly, I don't feel like arguing wether or not he can or can not go Super saiyan. This picture is so far from canon, I don't really think it matters.
I do apologize if this is any way offends anyone. It's not intended as a perverse picture.

Now that we have that out of the way...
So for those who watch me, you may have noticed I've been experimenting with the flat colours/shading of the actual DBZ style.
I have decided, that it just isn't me, and I'm going back to the way I used to colour. It just feels more natural to me.

As for this actual picture, it may also seem a little familiar. I drew a very similar picture quite a long time ago (2011 I think was the date) but it got subsequently deleted during my DA clean up at the start of this year.
I chose to redraw it, because it was one of my favourite pictures, once upon a time, and I wanted to see how far I've come in terms of my digital art. Improvements have been made, but there is room for many, many more.

This picture was done mostly for the anatomy and lighting practice. Especially the lighting. I always struggle with light sources.

Colouring process

I use solid blacks and whites to shade over the flat colours
I make use of the overlay and Multiply options in photoshop and blend using the eraser set to a very low flow.
